Ability First Sports Camp - Ability First Sports is a wheelchair sports program designed to provide sports and recreation opportunities to youth and adults with physical disabilities.

ABLE Kids Co - We design custom treatment plans utilizing applied behavioral analysis, implementing programs in a 1:1 or 1:4 ratio. Our focus is on supporting children in areas such as communication, play skills, independence, self-help, behavior reduction, and more. Funding for eligible individuals with autism or related disorders is available through insurance as a medical necessity.

Accessibility Resource Center (ARC), Chico State - Accessibility Resource Center at Chico State works with staff, faculty, students, administrators, and community members to ensure that all aspects of campus life— learning, working, and living— are universally accessible. We promote and facilitate awareness and access through accommodations, training, and partnerships.

Acorns to Oak Trees - Acorns to Oak Trees specifically works with tribal communities to spread the word about the Early Start program to ensure that tribal social service, education, and child care programs know about the Regional Centers and the importance of early detection intervention when it comes to Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. We achieve this by hosting outreach events in tribal communities and events where we provide information to tribal families through storytelling videos created by Native families who have children with special needs. Our outreach events offer resource information for the tribe’s local area and opportunities to connect with their local Regional Center to obtain a free screening.

Boys and Girls Club of the North Valley - Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley (BGCNV) is a private 501c3 non-profit organization formed in 1995 to provide comprehensive youth development services, activities and programs for youth in the northstate region. It is governed by a local board of volunteer directors, staffed by over 100 youth development professionals and supported by over 500 community volunteers.

Brain Injury Coalition - The Brain Injury Coalition (BIC) is an advocacy and educational organization dedicated to promoting brain injury awareness and creating opportunities for individuals with brain injury, their caregivers, and families. BIC is dedicated to ensuring that individuals with brain injury feel accepted, supported, and integrated into our community.

Butte College Disabled Student Programs & Services - DSPS is committed to providing equitable access to educational, vocational, social programs and accommodations to empower and uplift students with disabilities at Butte College.

Butte County Adult Services - Butte County Adult Services assists elderly and dependent adults who are victims of abuse, neglect, or exploitation, and helps coordinate services provided to disabled adults and children so that they can remain safely in their homes.

Butte County Behavioral Health Prevention Unit - To partner with individuals, families and the community for recovery from serious mental health and substance abuse issues and to promote wellness, resiliency, and hope.

Butte County California Children’s Services - California Children's Services (CCS) is a state program for children with certain diseases or health problems. Through this program, children up to 21 years old who qualify for the program, can get the health care and services they need. Butte County Public Health Department - Promoting healthy behaviors and resources, preventing illness and protecting the health of residents and visitors in Butte County is our daily commitment.

Butte County SELPA College and Career Pathways - The mission of our College and Career Pathways department is to promote the involvement of key partners including students, families, educators, employers, and other local agencies in planning and implementing an array of services that will culminate in successful student transition to employment, lifelong learning and quality of life.

Butte-Glenn 211 - The mission of Help Central, a.k.a. Butte-Glenn 211. is to connect people in need with services that offer help. We work with partner agencies to create a caring community that links individuals and families to the support services they need. By giving accurate information and connecting people to resources, we help strengthen families and our communities. 

Butte-Glenn Disability Resource Network - This group is made up of community members and agencies from Butte and Glenn counties looking to advance the cause of employment for people with disabilities in our community.

CalABLE - CalABLE is a savings and investment plan offered by the state of California to individuals who developed a disability by age 26. Eligible individuals, family, friends, and employers can contribute up to $18,000 per year, and up to $100,000 total, without affecting eligibility for public disability benefits.

CalFresh Healthy Living, UCCE, Butte County Cluster - Community Nutrition, Health, and Food Security. We provide person-centered, evidence-based health education for individuals with low income. Our educators use hands-on activities to facilitate learning and to promote healthy lifestyle habits.

California Vocations - California Vocations Inc. (CVI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing residential and vocational support to developmentally disabled adults. Our mission is to provide an environment of respect and safety while supporting choice and promoting self-directed lives for adults with I/DD.  

CBEM LLC - Empowering people to live safe and healthy lives through innovative social services.

Chico Area Recreation and Park District (CARD) - The Mission of the Chico Area Recreation and Park District (CARD) is to provide recreation opportunities to the greater Chico Community in a coordinated and cost-effective manner.

Chico Down Syndrome Connection - A supportive network whose mission is to empower families with current, up-to-date information, news and topics relevant the Down syndrome

Clinic for Communication Disorders at Chico State - The Clinic for Communication Disorders at CSU, Chico provides speech and language services (evaluations and treatment) free of charge to the North State Community. We can help with problems or difficulties related to articulation, fluency, voice, language development, reading, social skills, cognition, and more. Services are provided by graduate student clinicians under the direction of licensed and certified speech-language pathologists.

Chico Unified School District Special Education Parent Advisory Committee - CUSD SEPAC is parents working directly with district staff and school sites to promote equal access to educational opportunities for special education students, collaborate on Special Education policy changes, and exchange ideas and share solutions to the challenging issues children with disabilities face in schools and our community.

Compass - Dream, Direction, Destiny: Our team supports adults with developmental disabilities, helping them live freely in the community. Whether it’s as a Case Facilitator helping up to 8 clients, an Independent Living Services Coach teaching someone skills to pursue individual goals, or a Life Guide walking alongside someone around town and in his or her own home, all of our team members experience the joy of assisting someone on the path to a full and satisfying life.

Counselor Training Clinic, Chico State - The Counselor Training Clinic (CTC) is operated by the California State University, Chico psychology department’s Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) graduate program.  The CTC offers free individual, group, family and couples counseling by advanced MFT graduate students. Our services are free and available to both CSU Chico students, staff/faculty, as well as non-student and community members.

Critter Pass Ranch - A nonprofit animal sanctuary that provides sanctuary for special needs animals providing pet therapy for seniors and humane education through community programs

Disability Action Center - Disability Action Center is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1980 to meet specific needs of people with disabilities living in Northern California. We offer services, tools, and support for ages 14 to 29 and their families who are working through the often-challenging transition time from the school-based service system into young adult independent living.

Early Education Programs & Services at BCOE - Early Education Programs and Services is dedicated to delivering exceptional, inclusive early care and education programs and services through a team of highly skilled professionals. Our mission is to create nurturing environments that foster individualized educational, emotional, social, and physical growth and development for children.

Family First - Our mission is to support and empower clients, parents, caregivers and all those who fall into a client's circle of support by providing them with the highest quality, most comprehensive evidence-based approaches to improving learning and autonomy, and ensuring that every client’s experience with Family First is positive and rewarding.

Far Northern Regional Center - Providing services and supports that allow persons with developmental disabilities to live productive and valued lives.

Far Northern Regional Center's Self-Determination Advisory Committee (SDAC) - The Self-Determination Advisory Committee (SDAC)was established by the Far Northern Regional Center and the State Council on Developmental Disabilities to provide a local volunteer committee for oversight of the Self Determination Program. The role of the SDAC committee is to identify successes and limitations of the program; make recommendations for improvement; and conduct outreach and training to inform the public about the Self-Determination Program.

First 5 Family Center Network - The First 5 Family Center network was created with families’ needs in mind each center offers, playgroups, parenting, classes, support groups, school, readiness, activities, assistance with community resources, and can provide child safety supplies, and diapers. All programs and services are free to any interest family with young children.

Handi-Riders - providing therapeutic horse-assisted activities, which enrich and support our community’s individuals with special needs, at-risk youth and veterans.

Here’s the Deal - Assists individuals in learning to access services and information and promotes awareness of accessibility and social inclusion issues for the overall good of the community.

Hmong Cultural Center of Butte County - The mission of Hmong Cultural Center of Butte County (HCCBC) is to improve the lives of individuals and families through culturally sensitive education, advocacy, support, and services.

Level Up NorCal - Level Up NorCal is a community-based organization whose mission is to improve and promote the health, well-being and advancement of ethnic minorities, through education, support and advocacy. Through education, we can empower a group that has been historically disadvantaged with the first step towards advocating for themselves and closing disparity gaps.

Little Red Hen - Little Red Hen is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit offering supportive employment and socialization services to adults with developmental disabilities.

Mains’l - We offer innovative supports to people, responding to their hopes and dreams. Through a variety of person-centered programs, individuals are able to create their own pathway to success.

New Beginnings Housing Foundation - Our mission is to provide safe, stable, and affordable housing and seamlessly partner with supportive services that build connection with the greater community.

North State CAPTAIN Cadre - North State CAPTAIN is part of a statewide training and technical assistance network focused on promoting the acceptance, support and quality of life for individuals on the autism spectrum, that is inclusive of partner agencies who will work collaboratively so that individuals on the autism spectrum and their families can benefit from effective services, supports and resources.

Northern Valley Catholic Social Services - NVCSS home visiting services goal is to promote family resiliency and parent-child attachment through one-on-one supportive services. We provide parenting education and support, child development resources and screenings, postpartum mental health support and referrals to community resources as needed.

Partnership HealthPlan of California - Partnership HealthPlan of California is a non-profit community-based health care organization. We contract with the state to administer Medi-Cal benefits in 24 Northern California counties.  Their mission is mission is "To help our members, and the communities we serve, be healthy."

Rowell Family Empowerment of Northern CA - Rowell Empowers people with diverse abilities, and their families, to successfully navigate the systems that serve them and to empower them to self-advocate, by providing support, information and training.

Special Olympics of Northern California - Butte County - Special Olympics Northern California provides free year-round programs for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. We offer training and competitions in 11 sports, inclusive schools programs, health & wellness activities, leadership training and more!

State Council on Developmental Disabilities - The Council advocates, promotes and implements policies and practices that achieve self-determination, independence, productivity and inclusion in all aspects of community life for Californians with developmental disabilities and their families. 

Stonewall Alliance of Chico - We are committed to supporting and celebrating the health, empowerment, and joy of the North State LGBTQ+ community at every intersection of their identities.

The Arc of Butte County - The mission of The Arc is to ensure the opportunity for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities to choose and realize goals, which helps advance and enhance their quality of life. The Arc is further committed to reducing the incidence and limiting the consequences of developmental disabilities through education, advocacy and the support of family, friends and the community.

The Leaf Company - In partnership with Parents in Training Inc., we have developed an Adoption Wraparound Service, with a love-based unique methodology. This is an intense trauma-responsive educational program for adoptive parents on how to better understand and care for their adopted child, promoting a loving and healthy environment at home. 

We Care A Lot Foundation - Our Mission:  Supporting people with developmental disabilities to be contributing members of the community, through advocacy, education, and employment.  We Care A Lot provides peer support for the Far Northern clients we serve.  The Clean Teeth and Hands program is part of We Care A Lot Foundation.

Work Training Center - The mission of WTC, Inc. is to assist and support people with disabilities to enhance the quality of their lives through increased independence in work and leisure activities.

Youth for Change - Youth for Change is a non-profit, public benefit organization providing comprehensive and dynamic services, support and treatment to individuals, families and communities in the North State.
