More Professional Learning Opportunities

With so many requirements and work to do in the field of special education, we are always looking for professional learning opportunities provided by our partners in education, including the Butte County Office of Education, Chico Unified School District, Diagnostic Center of Northern California, and neighboring SELPAs and County Offices.  From time to time, trainings are held locally by other major organizations, on topics of concern to our schools and districts in their compliance monitoring processes (around behavior, mental health, and discipline, for example). This page is an attempt to capture those overlapping opportunities in one place to assist administrators in their decision-making about the types of professional learning their staff will need to move their compliance in a positive direction.
